"Hi I am Marjorie Dulaney. I am creator of Magickal Things. I have met many people that have liked my storybook style fantasy art. I hope to allow people to have a little magick in their everyday lives.
I created Magickal Things so I could allow people to own my art in a functional way at an affordable price. I am the soul proprietor of the business and I do all the work : from designing to production. My products remind people of the magick that is in all of our hearts. Each design tells a story for the owner."
About the Fabrics for Wearable art T-Shirts and Sportswear
All of my fabrics are 100% cotton or cotton blend. I do my very best to ensure the majority of these fabrics are made in the U.S.A..
About the Transfers for Wearable Art
The transfer paper I use on fabrics is professional quality. I print my designs onto this paper with fade resistant photo quality inks. It is then heat pressed into the fabric. It is imbeded into the fabric making it more durable than screen prints and decals. This is a washer and dryer safe product that looks hand painted. Although I do not recommend it, I have even bleached my own personal fabrics. (busy mom, artistic kids, messy life) Do not Iron these products. Who like to iron anyway?
About the Clothing for Wearable Art
Women’s Clothing: I am 5’3” and a size 13, so I know what it is like to want clothes that fit and flatter the figure. I have personally hand selected clothing that nips in at the waist and gives movement in the arms and lower torso. If you are taller or smaller than me you have no worries.
About the mens clothes What can I say mens clothes are simple and guys always look great in a shirt that fits. And yes boys you will be sexy too.
Images of the Art work on the clothing: I hand cut all of the designs and place them on the clothing to accentuate the natural curves of a woman’s body. And yes they can be very sexy!
About the Jewelry and Arts and Crafts
Magickal Things Jewelry is all hand crafted. marjorie Dulaney uses her expressionist style in her jewelry design. Pieces that are wire wrapped are each one of a kind. There is a slight variation in each beaded piece. Beads are carefully selected for there asthetic and magickal asthetic. All tumbled glass is a free form piece carefully selected for shape and over all artistic and magickal aesthetic. . The materials vary. I hand awe leather Garments and accessories. I sew Couture gowns and costuming. I make fine art dolls. I sculpt costume props. I assure you that every stitch was tested and art was used in the design. All the hand crafted items have a mind for magick in them and fantasy.I am available for Custom Work involving most any theme or medium.
